INKTOBER 2023

Two years ago, I took part in Lamy Malaysia Inktober Festival by completing thirty one sketches using Lamy pen. For that effort, I got a set of gifts from Lamy Malaysia- a Lamy pen and a notebook. The gift boosted my ego for being able to sketch every day. But the best gift is I have inculcated the habit of sketching. Now, I sketch at least two or three sketches per week.

I continued the good habit last year 2022 and now, I am taking part in the Inktober Pen Sketching for 2023. Last year, I read the book Atomic Habits by James Clear. I applied the knowledge and now I write my journal and do my sketching almost daily.

Inktober is an annual art challenge that takes place in October. It was created by artist Jake Parker as a way to improve his inking skills and develop a drawing habit. The challenge involves creating and sharing one ink drawing every day throughout the month of October.
